Cents of Juice
The total vig on a two-sided market measured in cents of odds. A -110/-110 market has 20 cents of juice; -105/-105 has 10 cents.
Like comparing credit card fees -- 1% vs 2% does not sound like much, but it adds up to real money.
Why it matters
Every cent of juice raises your breakeven point. Moving from 20 to 10 cents saves roughly 1.2% on every bet.
How DMP uses this
DMP displays the vig in cents for each market so users can prioritize lower-juice books for their bets.
Common mistake
Not shopping for lower juice -- even 5 cents difference compounds to thousands of dollars over a season.
