No-Vig Line

The theoretical odds on a market after removing the sportsbook's commission, representing the true implied probability. Also called fair odds.

Like seeing the wholesale price of an item before the retail markup is added.

Why it matters

No-vig lines reveal what the market actually thinks the probability is. Any deviation from your estimate is potential edge.

How DMP uses this

DMP devigs every line to show the no-vig fair probability, which is the foundation of all EV calculations.

Common mistake

Using raw odds for analysis without removing vig -- you are comparing against inflated prices, not true probabilities.
