Reverse Bet

Two if bets that run in both directions: Bet A triggers Bet B if it wins, AND Bet B triggers Bet A if it wins. This means both bets are always placed regardless of order.

Like two friends who each agree to buy dinner if the other one does — both end up paying regardless.

Why it matters

Reverse bets give you action on both legs no matter what, but risk more capital than a single if bet. They're less efficient than two straight bets.

How DMP uses this

DMP focuses on identifying +EV individual legs. If both legs have positive expected value, two straight bets are simpler and often better than a reverse.

Common mistake

Thinking a reverse bet is safer than two straight bets — it's actually the same risk with a more complicated structure.
