Understanding Odds Formats

American Odds

Most common in the US. Positive numbers (+110) show profit on $100 bet. Negative numbers (-110) show amount needed to bet to win $100.

Decimal Odds

Popular in Europe and Australia. Shows total return for every $1 bet. For example, 2.10 means you get $2.10 back for every $1 bet (including your stake).

Fractional Odds

Traditional UK format. Shows profit relative to stake. 11/10 means you win $11 for every $10 bet.

Implied Probability

The percentage chance of an outcome according to the odds. Higher probability means lower odds and vice versa.
